Quagga & Dodo. Endangered and extinct
Collection display
The collections of the Natural History Museum Basel, the archives of life, hold also many extinct species. These vouchers of times bygone are usually kept in our storage rooms for cultural assets. They should be safely preserved there not only for a few years but for centuries.
The new permanent exhibition Quagga & Dodo shows these unique witnesses of the extinction of species.
