Cartoon Sunday: On the way to a story

08 January 2023 | 2.00 PM - 4.00 PM

The artist Cosey gets inspired by his travels. From memories, notes and photographs, he makes stories that are always a glimpse into his own self at the same time. In this workshop, you can do it too and create an exciting short story from your experiences: Bring your photos and memories! In the workshop, you will be given input and help on the way to your story. For children aged 6 and above, with afternoon snack.
Prior registration necessary via info@cartoonmuseum.notexisting@nodomain.comch or 061 226 33 60

Institution

The Cartoonmuseum Basel is the only museum of its kind devoted exclusively to satirical art – from the caricature to the comic. The Late Gothic building on its historic site also includes an unexpected new building by Herzog & de Meuron. Varying, attractively designed exhibitions on political and social themes show the considerable scope of the humorous drawing and the great diversity of artistic techniques. Equal attention is paid to both classical works, some from the museum’s own stocks, and contemporary works.
