From September 17 to 19, 2020, Kunsttage Basel will take place, a joint event of several museums, galleries, exhibition spaces and projects in public space in the city of Basel up to the Dreispitz-Areal in Münchenstein. The focus will be on modern and contemporary art, which will be jointly presented to a broad public. You can find the individual exhibitions and public programs online at www.kunsttagebasel.ch.
During Kunsttage Basel, admission to the Kunsthalle Basel is free and the following special opening hours apply:
Thurs, 10 am–8:30 pm
Fri-Sun, 10 am–6 pm
The public opening of Judith Kakon’s project for the back wall of Kunsthalle Basel will take place on Thursday 17.9. at 7 pm.
On Saturday 19.9. a private guided tour (only for members and by appointment) through Das Mögliche ist ungheuer takes place.
On Sunday 20.9. at 3 pm Elena Filipovic will guide interested visitors through the current exhibitions of Deana Lawson and Nick Mauss.
