Swiss Performance Art Award 2023

23 September 2023 - 24 September 2023 | 11.00 AM - 5.00 PM

The Swiss Performance Art Award contributes to the visibility of Swiss performance art, shows its diversity and quality and reinforces its recognition. The annual competition is open to artists from all areas with a performative practice. The Swiss Performance Art Award is a common initiative by the Cantons of Aargau, Basel-City, Basel-Country, Lucerne, St Gall, Zurich and the City of Geneva.

2023, the Canton of Basel-Landschaft, together with the Kunsthaus Baselland, will host this important event over the course of two days. In the following week, on 26 and 28 September, a focus on performance art will also take place at Kunsthaus Baselland. This will honour the contributions and offer the participating artists the opportunity to present their performative practice to a wider audience, moderated by Jules Pelta Feldman.
