The tours are held on Sundays at 2.30 p.m. once a month. Where there is sufficient demand, an additional tour will be held at 3.15 p.m.

The tour lasts 30 minutes and is free of charge. However, we would kindly ask you to register. Owing to limited space, the tours are limited to 4 persons. Tours will take place even if only one person registers.

Explanations will normally be given in German. If you would like a tour in another language, please contact us at kunstvermittlung@schaulager.notexisting@nodomain.comorg.

Schaulager is not open to the public when no exhibition is taking place. Library and collection can be visited upon request.

Institution

The Schaulager houses the collection of the Emanuel Hoffmann Foundation, with the aim of preserving, studying, and sharing its holdings of modern and contemporary art. It is primarily for the use of professionals, teachers, and students. Occasional exhibitions and events are open to the general public.

Take tram no. 11, bound for Aesch Dorf, from the Basel SBB station to the «Schaulager» stop (approx. 10 min).

Accessibility
