We offer a monthly guided tour, explaining the Schaulager concept and providing an introduction to the collection of the Emanuel Hoffmann Foundation.

Schaulager is not open to the public when no exhibition is taking place. Library and collection can be visited upon request.

Institution

The Schaulager houses the collection of the Emanuel Hoffmann Foundation, with the aim of preserving, studying, and sharing its holdings of modern and contemporary art. It is primarily for the use of professionals, teachers, and students. Occasional exhibitions and events are open to the general public.

Take tram no. 11, bound for Aesch Dorf, from the Basel SBB station to the «Schaulager» stop (approx. 10 min).

Accessibility
