The three departments of the Museum of Riehen are housed in the 17th-century Wettsteinhaus. The historic building provides an idyllic setting for one of the leading collections of European toys of every kind. The village museum shows everyday life in Riehen around 1900. The wine cellar demonstrates the importance of wine growing for Riehen and its surroundings.
English Story Time with Ms. Jeanne: Hey doll!
02 November 2019 | 11.15 AM - 12.15 PM
There’s a new exhibit at the museum on dolls! Let’s take a look around. Then we’ll read and talk about – even sing about - different kinds of dolls and why they are so important to us. Nobody grows up without dolls whether they are soft and cuddly, wear dresses or pants, are the superheroes in our stories, or just sit on our shelves watching over us. And, as always, we’ll make a craft to take home as a memory.
