Mal•Mal – Draw from a Live Model in the Current Exhibitions

12 May 2021 | 6.00 PM - 8.00 PM

Do you feel like drawing? Kunsthalle Basel invites all passionate artists and art enthusiasts—beginner, professional, or anywhere in between—to grab paper and pencil and discover new shapes and lines in the current exhibitions.

A model will interact with the interior in the exhibition Barzakh by Lydia Ourahmane, creating new situations. The interactions between Joachim Bandau’s sculptures and the model, on the other hand, invite you to capture surreal moments in your drawings.

A collaboration between the collective Mal•Mal, Kunsthalle Basel and the Sommercasino.

Meetingpoint: Kunsthalle Basel, Foyer
free of charge, drawing material is provided by the art education team of Kunsthalle Basel

Due to the measures in place to contain the coronavirus, this event has a limited capacity and prior registration is mandatory.
