The weather is becoming increasingly unpredictable as a result of global warming. What means and strategies do we have at our disposal to cope with this reality?

The artists jointly develop new works around the theme of rain, its scarcity and abundance. Water evaporates, the vapor condenses in puffy clouds and falls back cooled, seeping into the ground. This inexhaustible cycle permeates both organic and inorganic matter. Our bodies are shaped by exchanges and changes that flow through them.

In the exhibition Rainbag, tools that embody absorbing, retaining, and taking away become actors. The artists living in Berlin, Basel, Munich and Svendborg, develop works that deal with flow, fullness and emptiness. With sculptures, drawings, sound and text, they explore how interdependence and coexistence can be materialized. At the beginning of the exhibition, the space will be activated with a public participatory workshop. At the end of the exhibition, a publication will be published that brings together research in image and text.
